Loss for Leicester Lions in Manchester

A tough loss for the Leicester Lions in Manchester. The Lions was in the lead after 12 heats, the result was 33-39. Then: 5-1, 5-1, 5-1 for the Belle Vue Aces. Result: 48-42.

– It was really tough today! It was good racing and a tight meeting. 

– In heat 13, I was just behind Fricke (Max), but I couldn’t find a way around him. Same in heat 15, but after 2 laps I got problem with my bike and had to quit the race.
– After all, I’m happy with the way I was riding today. It could had been some more points, but I was riding good.
– I’m also happy that the Leicester Lions got one point from this meeting.
