Puncture in last heat decider

The second meeting against the Somerset Rebels in the Premiership Knock Out Cup ended up in a last heat decider. Leicester needed a 4-2 to win the meeting. That’s what they had with Kim in the front position.

With one and a half laps left to go, Kim got a puncture. He tried to continue the race, but with a half lap to go, he had to quit the race.

−We had almost won the meeting. It’s sad to finish a last heat decider in this way. But for me personally, it feels better to lose in this way than ride like a bag of shit in a last heat decider!

One consolation is whoever that Kim was named as the rider of the night by fans in Leicester.
